As a Quality Manager, you will be part of the 'Global Product Care' department where you will be responsible for overseeing quality control and managing relationships with partners for our components and watches. Your primary focus will be ensuring their compliance and timely availability.

Job Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Management

  • Provide strong leadership to the team by setting clear expectations, providing guidance, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, set performance goals, and give regular feedback to team members. Identify areas of improvement and provide coaching and support as needed.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the team and across other departments. Encourage open and transparent communication channels.

Main Quality Activities

  • Define and manage quality standards and criteria in collaboration with Quality Assurance, production, and product development teams.
  • Propose and implement improvement processes within the quality department.
  • Lead the evaluation and analysis of non-conformities, demonstrating the capacity to make decisions and take key actions in challenging circumstances.
  • Oversee the implementation of preventive and corrective actions internally and with suppliers.
  • Manage the quality system and ensure its continuous improvement and implementation throughout the organization.
  • Manage the performance of activities through an effective and relevant indicator system.
  • Monitor quality department operating costs.
  • Actively participate in various projects and audits aimed at continuously improving products and processes.

Other projects

  • The manager may be assigned additional projects or objectives that extend beyond their primary scope of responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Engineer/Master’s degree with at least 8 years’ experience in an industrial environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of watchmaking processes and products.
  • Experience in quality control (TQ1-TQ2-TQ3).
  • Proficiency in quality tools and problem-solving techniques.
  • Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and attention to details.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a challenging environment.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for project success and result oriented.
  • You enjoy working with many interfaces, communicating, and finding creative solutions to various challenges in interdisciplinary teams both internally and externally.
  • You have an analytical, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Fluent in French and English, Italian is a plus.
