There will be opportunities to work both individually and as a team. This position involves writing C++ software that interacts with x-ray hardware components.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and unit test object-oriented software in a collaborative environment.
  • Will provide design, coding, testing, debugging, configuration, and software documenting.
  • Understands product development processes including Change Control & Design Control and SDLC
  • Strong software development, continuous integration, testing & troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interface and communicate with internal and external customers across time zones.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • At least a B.S. or M.S in Software Engineering or Computer Science 
  • 6+ years relevant work experience
  • Fluency in C++ is a must.
  • Understanding and use of C++ templates is desired.
  • Experience with Microsoft and Linux operating systems and build tools is required.
  • Experienced with multi-threading is required.
  • Solid skills in Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD)
  • Experience with QT and UI development desired.
  • Ability to diagnose issues using log files.
  • Solid understanding of system level software (drivers, firmware, networking, wifi, and test applications) is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of Xilinx would be helpful.
  • Passion for developing efficient, testable, and well-documented code.
  • Prior work with imaging products or designing software products in an FDA or other regulated industry is highly desirable.
