Summary:

  • Outpatient PRN Psychotherapist provides both short-term and ongoing clinical psychotherapy and case management services to a diverse adult outpatient population. These services are provided in close consultation with and supervision from the Clinician Supervisor and Assistant Director of Operations. The therapist functions as a member of a clinical treatment team which also includes a responsible adult psychiatrist or CRNP. The Therapist is responsible to perform individual therapy for the Adult Outpatient Services Department, document treatment using treatment plans and progress notes, in addition to providing some case management services to clients, when needed. The degree of supervision is related to level of training, experience, and licensure.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides appropriate psychotherapeutic services to adult clients in Outpatient Services. Provides case management as needed and appropriate to patients in meeting various psychiatric, medical, and social needs associated with enhancing clinical care. Document assessment, treatment interventions, and treatment plans in a timely and appropriate manner to maintain thorough records in compliance with regulatory and insurance requirements. Obtain at own expense all CME required to maintain appropriate licensure.

Credentials:

  • LCSW or LPC or LSW or LMFT (preferred)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • Master of Arts or Science or Masters in related field of Human Services including Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family therapy and Human Development (Required)
  • 1-year clinical internship during graduate school (Preferred)
  • And 1+ years of post-graduate clinical experience as provider in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy (Preferred)
