What's the role?

We are looking for Field Engineer, to join our technical team for the Southern Bulgaria region. This role includes technical expertise and high level of communication skills (working with clients). You will assist in achieving sales goals within a specific region by establishing long-term partnerships with representatives of design and technical departments in client organizations.

You will report directly to the Technical Manager and cooperate closely with our Back Office Engineers, Sales Teams and external customers. The position involves daily travel in the assigned region with a provided company car.

What does the role involve?

The purpose of the role is to provide technical advice and educate assigned customers on Hilti’s products, software, and services. The role involves providing technical advice to architects and engineers in order to secure specifications early in the design process. The job holder is responsible for key project specification of Hilti products, software and services, supporting the sales team in their efforts to sell a variety of Hilti solutions.

• Visiting assigned engineering and architectural firms, customer offices and construction projects regularly to identify opportunities to specify and use Hilti software, services and products
• In-depth knowledge of the technical specifications and appropriate applications of products from the product range, subject to specification (anchors, installations, direct mounting elements, fire protection)
• Providing engineering support and coverage to a defined group of customers as well as technical support, information, and advise to colleagues and their customers
• Consulting engineers and focus customers to gain specifications, through providing added value engineering services
• Understanding of the digital technical resources and ability to explain their availability and use to our architects, engineers, customers, and sales team
• Active communication with new and existing customers
• Continuous learning and development of the technical skills and knowledge.

What you need is:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Good level of knowledge of the construction industry, the design processes and relevant technical disciplines associated with construction industry
• Advanced level of AutoCAD
• Good computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
• Understanding the correlation between technical and commercial aspects of engineering work
• Interest in solving complex engineering problems based on analytical mindset
• Goal achievement and solution-oriented personality
• Willingness to work in a cross functional team
• Driving License B
• Fluency in both Bulgarian and English language (oral and written).
