Job summary

The Resource, Project & Portfolio Management (RPPM) IT Technical System Admin is responsible for configuring, administrating, and supporting the tools used to capture and manage all portfolio programs and BCaM R&D projects in coordination with the service provider and according to business requirements prioritized by the Product Owner and Product Manager.

This position is based out of Noida or Bangalore (India) and offers opportunity to work in a globally distributed team where candidate will get a unique opportunity of personal development in a multi-cultural environment supporting Business and IT goals.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Oversee Build and configuration releases of RPPM tool. Handle config development and Katalon script development. Responsible for build upgrade and config deployments. 
  • Update test suites to support HURT/regression as new changes are required. Assists in the coordination of various testing activities.
  • Process data clean-up for users coming in and out of the company. Routine performance and job monitoring and token clean up, documentation reviews, process maintenance activities. 
  • Manage weekly sync with team on ticket metrics, priorities and upcoming change requirements. Report on open ServiceNow and Vendor tickets. Train new resources in team on application and automation tools. 
  • Handle Year end activities including Data update, Clean-up activities, Data analyzations and running command lists on configuration. CCB user updates, Organization alignment, Sync working and baseline versions. 
  • Handles user queries through emails. 
  • Works on the JIRA tasks which are in addition to other normal incidents.
  • Guides/help integration team for Sciforma, Business Opportunity Selection and Flight Map. 

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Quarterly patching of software
  • Test data in integration updates. Work with TIBCO and other interface groups for data quality checks.
  • Align with the different business owners, architects and IT experts of the components involved on the processes defined in R&D development.
  • Support RPPM Business Analyst to translate business requirement to technical requirements.
  • Optimal cooperation with architect, Business Analyst and other team engineers
  • Manages and monitors the RPPM solution, in line with company guidelines.
  • Contributes to code reviews and validation of features developed by other developers.
  • Continually seeking methods to improve the application, supporting processes and promote best practices.
  • Create technical designs for changes/projects and new functionality.
  • Facilitate and disposition Sciforma service tickets and meet with callers to resolve issues.
  • Document runbook and procedures to support users and to support RPPM R&D IT team training and knowledge to support ongoing requirements for Sciforma

Software/Skills

As an IT Technical System Admin, you show the following skills:

  • Knowledge of using Sciforma designer UI and Visual Studio
  • Ability to use Katalon, Splunk and other similar performance monitoring tools and able to setup monitors.
  • Able to create and maintain API scripts, for example, Java, Phython
  • Working knowledge on ETL process, for example, SQL/Postgresql/MySQL/Teradata Warehouse and PGadmin
  • Familiar with AWS, Confluence, Jira, Agile SAFe, TIBCO, PowerBI, Office365, Microsoft Suite
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to achieve objectives.
  • Understanding of stakeholders process definition, requirement gathering and documentation of functional specs.
  • Collaboration with other teams to ensure high quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Outstanding analytical and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these.
  • Excellent social skills and ability to work effectively with global stakeholders and remote.
  • Proactive and supportive, helping teams and colleagues before being asked, making issues known before they are critical.
  • Clear English communication in spoken and written word, also with different cultures.

Job qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science and relevant technical experience of 10 years or more
  • Conceptual ITIL Knowledge with understanding of Agile / scrum methodology
  • Sciforma RPPM knowledge will be a plus.
