The Compliance and Privacy Analyst II is responsible for supporting the Legal compliance and privacy teams. Work will include research and reporting on global compliance and privacy regulations, management of the compliance platforms, management of third-party due diligence screening efforts, and coordination of compliance and privacy projects, processes and other various activities.

This position does require hybrid work in the Lincolnshire, IL office. 

Responsibilities:

  • Research and report on global compliance laws and regulations, including global modern slavery regulations, global privacy regulations, and other compliance and privacy laws and regulations
  • Manage, track and report on third party screening efforts
  • Coordinate compliance goals, projects, processes, and other various activities
  • Manage compliance platforms including data mapping and privacy assessments
  • Develop, track and report on key performance indicators for Zebra’s compliance and ethics program, including compliance training, hotline metrics, privacy program metrics, and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist in the development and review of training material and provide training to employees on compliance related topics and events
  • Support the response to customer questions about compliance, e.g. at bid /RFP stage and through the lifecycle of the agreement
  • Support Zebra’s privacy efforts, including coordination of regular meetings with Zebra’s external Data Protection Officer’s or equivalent roles.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years experience working in a legal department
  • Ability to research, analyze and report on compliance regulations
  • Highly organized and process oriented
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with aggressive deadlines, in a dynamic environment
  • Exercises initiative to solve complex issues independently
  • Team player both within the legal department and when working across the organization 
  • Strong work ethic and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong business acumen

Preferred:

  • Paralegal certification preferred but not required
  • Experience working with compliance and privacy platforms such as Blue Umbrella and One Trust also a plus

Some travel may be required – up to 10%

Salary: USD 65500.00 - USD 98300.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
