UPMC Canterbury Place is now hiring a full-time HVAC Tech!!

This is a Monday-Friday Daylight position but will require on-call shifts on weekends and off hours. This is a Union Position.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic kitchen equipment repairs.
• Perform other related duties as directed.
• Install basic components and wiring in HVAC systems.
• Performs repairs on PTAC and RTU units, exhaust fans, washers, dryers, etc.
• Requirement to be on-call on designated weekends and will be required to carry a cell phone and emergency pager when scheduled to respond to any building maintenance minor emergencies that may arise.
• Performs preventive maintenance on various HVAC systems

High school diploma/GED is required. Technical school degree preferred. Experience is required. May in the course of their duties be in rooms where medications are stored. No contact with medications is allowed.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• CFC Universal License
• Driver's License
• Act 34
• OAPSA
