Dexcom is a high-growth, fast-paced environment where you work with a leading-edge data platform test team to contribute to the full life cycle of software in a fast-growing organization.  You will work alongside highly skilled and passionate test engineering professionals who know how to deliver exceptional results while also having some fun along the way. For this role, you would be joining Dexcom’s Software R&D, Data Platform Test Engineering team.

Where you come in:

  • You will participate in building quality into products by writing automated tests and performing tests including ad hoc testing throughout the development cycle.
  • You will participate in the development of software requirements and design specification.
  • You will design, develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test scripts to test the functionalities of the Dexcom CGM software, and system. 
  • You will create verification and validation test plans, test reports, traceability matrices and review with relevant stakeholders. 
  • You will record and track issues in the bug tracking system. 
  • You will analyze failures and collaborate with development teams to ensure root cause is investigated. 
  • You will contribute to release process improvements. 
  • You will provide technical guidance and mentorship for junior engineers. 

What makes you successful:

  • You have hands-on experience in software development or software test development using Python or other OOP languages. 
  • You have experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases. 
  • You have experience with automated test development in API testing.
  • You will experience working within a wide variety of automated testing frameworks, including Robot framework.
  • Your have a strong understanding of API Testing, microservices, and distributed systems in cloud environments.
  • You have experience working with automated UI testing. 
  • Your have experience working in Cloud Applications like Google Cloud or AWS.
  • You have experience with containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes. 
  • You have medical device industry, experience working with FDA design control process highly desired. 
  • You have working knowledge of GCP with Airflow, Dataflow, and BigQuery.
  • You have working knowledge of distributed event streaming platforms like Kafka.
  • You have experience with performance testing is a plus. 
  • You have debugging skills and attention to detail 
  • You have CI/CD experience, especially using cloud-based technologies. 
  • You have Agile development and test development experience. 
  • Youi have the ability to work cross functionally to collaborate with software development teams for the testing, deployment, and reporting on product performance, quality, security, and stability.
  • You are a self-starter and able to work with minimal guidance with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.

$100,700.00 - $167,900.00
