What's the role?

We are looking for a curious and creative Senior Communications Specialist to join a well-established Regional Communications team who has worked in the corporate, technology and/or customer/sales communications fields. You would lead the execution for Regional Communications for our APAC region, working with some of the biggest B2B and B2C brands in the world, based on the global Corporate Communications and Customer organization strategies. 

You are playing a critical role in the transformation, growth ambition and awareness building for HERE Technologies in APAC. You will work closely with APAC General Manager (GM) as well as his Regional Leadership Team, by actively contributing to executing their Go-to-Market strategy. The role is based in Singapore and reports to the Director of Regional Communications at HERE. 

  • Partners with the APAC GM, acts as a strategic adviser to shape and steer all communications related topics on a regional Customer organization level. 
  • Advances the visibility and the impact of the GM both internally and externally and ensures his seamless, coherent and timely messaging to all stakeholders inside and outside the company. 
  • Builds and expands our audience, reach and influence in the region with a targeted, industry-focused, customer-first communications across owned and earned channels. 
  • Researches, develops, and implements programs for HERE's leading communications themes and delivers these through high-quality, creative messaging and data-driven tactics. 
  • Develops, manages and steers the execution of regional communications plans, campaigns and projects. 
  • Partners with the Global Employee Advocacy team to highlight regional employee activities, customer wins, executive thought leadership activities and partners on executing the global social media strategies on a regional level. 
  • Drives the execution of global (internal/external) campaigns, adapted for the region and by audience. 
  • Based on guidance from your manager and in association with global Employee Advocacy team, designs and executes change communication projects for the Customer organization supporting their transformation into a world-class sales team. 
  • Together with HR, drives the development of the GM and his leadership team in the region as great communicators in and outside the company. 
  • Is supported by a network of world-class communications professionals. 

Who are you?

You are a strong candidate for this role if you possess the following skills, competencies and experience:

  • 5 years of experience in corporate and customer/sales communications. Ideally in a fast-paced, tech environment. 
  • Validated experience in communications roles in a tech company or PR agency. 
  • A university degree in either journalism, communication/marketing/sales or similar fields or relevant work experience. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills (English fluent). 
  • Ability to translate the APAC Customer strategy into revenue supporting communications tactics with the customer’s success at the center of the story. 
  • Ability to leverage the full portfolio of a communications professional yet can experiment with visual storytelling using data and insights. 
  • Prior experience in translating market trends and customer data into valuable insights. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, an abilility to effectively work across functions and personalities,howevever can also work independently.
  • You are flexible and able to successfully navigate ambiguity and succeed in a rapidly changing, deadline-driven environments with multiple priorities. 
  • Can demonstrate proven experience in balancing confidential information and effective decision making under pressure.
