What you’ll achieve

As an Advisory Consultant, you will provide technical and consultative guidance for solutions opportunities on a range of complex engagements and deliver technical architectural design, strategies and solutions for engagements.

The Apps & Data Transformation Consulting Team at DELL Technologies is uniquely positioned to help customers in their transformation journey to make them relevant for the next decade. This niche team of consultants work across the globe work with the Dell EMC global fortune 500 customers in -

• Defining their transformation road map
• As part of DTS Consulting’s Global Apps & Data team, we help customers realize their potential and embark on Apps, Data, Platform and Cloud Transformation journeys by providing roadmaps, technical and financial analysis and execute the strategy through real-time innovative and patented approaches.

You will:

• You will work directly with Practice Leadership, Sales, Pre-Sales and Customers in an advisory role, providing competency based solutioning and help towards deal-closures, in addition to leading teams of consultants towards delivering some of the best-in-class consulting solutions.
• You should have strong knowledge of DevOps, DevSecOps and EaC/IaC and other cutting-edge technologies, to navigate across tech.-stacks while creating custom-made solutions for customers.
• You should have knowledge of deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing release automation pipelines, to ensure the faster release of new features to productions systems.
• You should have knowledge of ensuring critical system security using best-in-class security solutions, as well as a collaborative mindset to achive business outcomes by leading cross functional technical project teams.
• You will be advising, designing, and implementing cloud visions, strategies and road maps and architectures, to create agile, software defined and state-of-the-art solutions. 
• You will be partnering with the Practice Lead in recruiting, training, and developing top talent for world-class delivery, as well as drive organization-wide initiatives to promote customer success, innovation, and technical excellence and oversee project delivery and manage customer escalations.

Essential Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience, with proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior business and technology leaders (up to and including CxO).
• 10+ years of experience managing multiple and/or large engagements with more than 10-15 resources (directly or indirectly) and comfort presenting to senior leadership and executives at Fortune 500 organizations.
• 3+ years of experience in Cloud Solutions (IaaS/PaaS/Big Data/Analytics/ AI/ML) Strategy and Implementation for mid or large size organizations (this includes private/public clouds - on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or VMWare, Open Stack)
• Experience with designing, implementing or operating IT systems on leading commercial Cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google
• Proven ability to successfully lead complex, multi-thread cloud and infrastructure transformation sales cycles - across solution, commercial and risk management dimensions.
• Relevant and experience of initiating and running multi-year application, automation or cloud transformation programs and initiatives for mid to large scale organizations - inclusive of people, process, and technology change.
• Experience of Agile Methodologies and knowledge of SAFe, Scaled Agile, Scrum, as well as traditional SDLC.

Desirable Requirements

• Practical experience with modern cloud-based operations including experience leading teams of Site Reliability Engineers
• A background in software development and experience in configuration management will be good to have, along with good amount of team-management exp.
