The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Senior Account Manager for our ID Signage Business Development team. The Vertical Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for developing and managing major named accounts within the Transportation vertical market segment. The primary duties include cultivating the market segment, qualifying and closing major sales opportunities. The focus will be on the transportation environment, including airports, rail stations, and transportation hubs. Additionally, the KAM will engage with the Specifier and consultancy network to understand both the end-user voice of the customer (VOC) and the total solution environment.

The KAM will be tasked with managing existing executive-level relationships with end-users while also developing and maintaining new ones. Collaboration with internal and external ecosystem partners will be essential to deliver LG technology solutions effectively. This role is field/home office-based, and we welcome candidates living within close proximity to a major airport.

What you will do:

  • Develop strategies to expand LG's market share in transportation vertical markets.
  • Understand the business of each end-user and align technical requirements with suitable LG Electronics solutions, primarily focused on digital display technology.
  • Assist industry Specifier and Consultant partners by providing LG technology and systems resources to facilitate site reviews, project Statements of Work (SOW), and solution development.
  • Develop business plans to outline overall revenue and unit targets, as well as targets for individual product categories.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of the go-to-market strategy, with regular tracking and reporting.
  • Monitor pipeline trends regularly and provide timely corrective actions and reporting.
  • Ensure forecast accuracy and alignment with Product Management.
  • Manage channel and LG inventory levels to optimize resources.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maximize marketing efforts and activities for increased brand exposure and growth.
  • Handle administrative tasks with support from the Inside Sales team.
  • Represent LG Electronics at trade shows and other speaking engagements as required.

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in AV Network solutions with a proven track record of results in the transportation market
  • Proficiency in AV Technologies, including Large format displays, Small format displays, collaboration technologies, and digital signage content
  • Demonstrated experience in Large format and small format display sales
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Strong business acumen and thought leadership across sales, marketing, operations, finance, and account P&L
  • Knowledge of AV system Virtualization
  • Technical sales experience with outstanding presentation skills and strong customer relationship-building abilities
  • Demonstrated expertise with MicroSoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with SalesForce CRM preferred
  • Eagerness to stay updated with new technology and undergo training
  • Willingness to interface directly with customers, end-users, and OEMs
  • Availability and willingness to travel up to 75% to customer sites as required.

Pay range $90,000-115,000
