Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant-QA

When building software, we will be going through many stages from initial requirements to going live, it’s important to ensure that everything works according to specification. We're looking for a quality assurance engineer to help us maintain our high level of quality. QA tester will seek bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that they’re dealt with.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing including smoke, sanity, regression, Integration and Database Testing
• Strong skills in functional and Automation Testing of enterprise applications.
• Prepare test plan and Author functional test cases.
• Good knowledge/experience working in Azure/AWS environments
• Strong skills in Java, BDD, Cucumber and Selenium frameworks
• Well versed skills in designing automation framework.
• Good experience working in CI/CD implementation using Jenkins
• Hand on experience in Rest API and UI Automation
• Good knowledge in testing scalability and performance of products
• Design and execute automated tests throughout our continuous delivery (CD) system
• Create, develop and maintain testing frameworks and tools to meet the needs of our customers and engineering teams
• Work with developers, testers, and product managers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects
• Participate in requirements gathering, story writing, design and test reviews
• Develop automated performance tests that demonstrate our systems scale
• Create innovative testing solutions as needed, utilizing both GE and third-party technologies
• Cover both white, grey and black box testing of our applications and assist developers with unit testing
• Interface with project managers, project engineers and customers on general and specific issues

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications we seek in you!

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MTech
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Software Testing

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in Cloud environment is added advantage
• Experience with Microservice architecture, JPA, Spring framework, Spring boot, Kafka, Docker, Helm and Kubernetes would be a significant advantage
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and be proactive.
• Experience in various automation frameworks like Karate and Cucumber.
• Ability to work with distributed team members including time zone flexibility
• Should have Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to work in a meaningful and multifaceted environment
• Must have worked on any of the standard bug reporting tool
• Must have excellent analytical skills to find root cause and reproduce the issue.
• Understand work you're doing/jobs, their functional requirements.
• Clear Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle.
• Experience in Agile Methodology
