Position Summary

Oversee administrative operations to ensure the seamless flow of activity within the office of Global Enrollment Management and Student Success (GEMSS). Serve on the GEMSS senior leadership team, ensuring effective administrative management by developing and executing a coordinated strategy for training, deploying, and managing employees who provide administrative support to the organization. Direct complex projects core to Enrollment Management operations and manage critical timelines, budgets, and deadlines necessary to ensure organizational success. Under high visibility, handle complex administrative challenges on a daily basis, engage in problem solving and decision making based on office goals, priorities, and objectives, and serve as a proactive, trusted partner to the Senior Vice President and fellow GEMSS leaders.

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:

Master's Degree

Required Experience:

7+ years progressively responsible experience in academic administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven ability to handle multiple priorities under deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Ability to develop, implement and interpret policies and procedures. Prior experience with operational and staff supervision. Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Strong research, verbal and written communication skills. Advanced proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and database software. Ability to manage projects from start to finish and negotiate solutions to problems. Ability to act in a professional and confidential manner with all levels of employees and outside groups.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Experience working across an international platform. Experience supporting executive level or a C-Suite equivalent office.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $100,000.00 to USD $130,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
