Position Summary & Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
This position is in Marion KS within District Two with the Kansas Department of Transportation.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Provides engineering guidance and administration for the construction of highway and related construction projects. This involves interpreting specifications, plans and special provisions and the supervision of other engineers and engineering technicians. Provides effective leadership to work unit thru priority outcomes, performance reviews, coaching and counseling, discipline and providing development opportunities for employees under positions supervision. Due to seasonal work, incumbent will be required to work additional hours including nights and weekends. Additional hours will be assigned by the supervisor depending upon the needs of the agency.
