Four Seasons Hotel Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus is recognized as a Forbes 5 Star Hotel. Provide leadership and management for all operational hotel personnel: directly for two key management personnel and indirectly for management, non-management personnel. Accepts responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of the hotel guests and employees. Be accountable for all personnel actions, assets, and personal property and the end results of their use. Represent the hotel to civic, business, industry and local government. The Hotel/Resort Manager will provide leadership and management for all operational hotel personnel: directly for two key management personnel and indirectly for management, non-management personnel. Accepts responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of the hotel guests and employees. Be accountable for all personnel actions, assets, and personal property and the end results of their use. Represent the hotel to civic, business, industry and local government.

About the role

Assists guest with luggage during arrival and departure, makes necessary deliveries to and pick up from guest rooms, transports guest and hotel packages and parcels.

What you will do

Greets guests and escorts them to their rooms. Delivers luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the Front Drive. Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-ups in compliance with Four Seasons Standards. Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assists guests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Will complete any tasks of a Doorman or Valet Driver when required. Greets all guests passing through lobby and offers them assistance. Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. Performs shoeshine service; picking up shoes from guest room, cleaning and polishing them and returning them to the guest. Performs errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off the hotel property. Complies with Four Seasons Culture standards.

What you bring

  • Ability to read, write, and speak, English on a basic level.
  • Knowledge on techniques of how to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 kg
