Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE

  • Supports, follow up and implements Retail/Omni strategy (product, speech, price, promotion program, event, assortment, reach our sales target) to secure the maximum commercial potential of current and future Pharmacy products marketed in Vietnam. 
  • This position plays very important role on developing Retail channel as assigned (Drugstores, Chains, Key accounts, e-commerce, pharma companies, wholesalers…) to meet sales targets which aligned with marketing strategy and relevant Field Force team.
  • This position will be the fielded-based expert on Retail business channel and will coordinate with marketing and pharmacy field force team to maximize market penetration to Santen products as well as develop differentiated value proposition and market share growth in assigned areas. 
  • Responsibility leading/managing key assigned key accounts to ensure KPI achievement in good business relationship and customer insight. 
  • This person does the analyzing competitors, market situation in assigned areas periodically and make suggestions and advice to management in decisions on account/channel distribution development in line with the development situation of company.
  • This person needs to be a team player, be reliable, be meticulous, be highly flexible and customer focused, business acumen, result orientation with good communication and interpersonal skills having the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Identify the commercial potential markets for assigned territory/account.
  • Update retail/omni channel distribution network/dynamic related to market share, penetration, trend behavior.
  • Secure the KPI (sales target) achievement through direct work in field and/or collaborate with other teams (Field Force team, Marketing team, Distributor…) on developing planned price, trade promotion and execution to ensure meeting company direction.
  • Build up good relationships with key accounts, relevant teams (DKSH, GGM, Pharmacy team) to maximize KPI results and achieve business performance.
  • Work to level up key accounts by increasing availability and visibility of Santen products through negotiation and workshop, and then develop Santen’s reputation in Vietnam pharmaceutical market.
  • Suggest strategy and solution to maximize business penetration via collaboration and insight status of market dynamic.
  • Collaborate with marketing, Pharmacy AFFM to execute activities on field in order to ensure total pharmacy business performance.
  • Communicate and correspond to key accounts as assigned towards succession of implementation, monitoring, and tracking for campaigns, trade promotions, partnership program… 
  • Drive business growth for assigned accounts to align with company direction
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base.
  • Increasing business opportunities through various approach within omni channel.
  • Developing more business opportunities by aligning with, supporting to distribution, marketing.
  • Other assigned tasks from Head of Pharmacy business.

Qualifications

1. Experience 

  • 2-year experience on Key Account Management in FMCG/OTC and Omni channel

2. Qualification

  • Knowledge about retail/omni channel distribution dynamic
  • Proven ability to develop trust-based relationships with key accounts 
  • Good negotiation ability
  • Independent and innovative orientation
  • Strong understanding of FMCG/OTC products

3. Skills

4. Education

  • Bachelor degree upward in Pharmacy/ Doctor; or Health Science Degree is advantage.
