Job Overview:

The Manager, Marketing Execution leads and supports coordination of all cross-functional activities across Firehouse Marketing, Analytics, Communications, Operations, Legal/ Regulatory, and vendors amongst other cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution of marketing calendar promotional window and other new marketing activations. This position also collects information and implements feedback from all internal stakeholders and Popeyes franchisees to improve the overall product and promotion launch process across all supporting business functions. The position is highly collaborative and involves working directly with internal and external stakeholders cross-functionally to ensure successful launches across the system. 

Responsibilities:

  • Cross-functional project management of all initiatives and ongoing activities related to product and promotions launched nationally and in specific DMA’s during market tests supporting sales and traffic through flawless implementation and execution
  • Perform weekly routines across all business areas around current and upcoming product and promotion projects and calendar activations
  • Create detailed Action Plans for and validate the operational and execution plans of upcoming activations, including high traffic and/or check-driving initiatives and product related communications
  • Support coordination and lead execution, cross-functionally on market tests
  • Provide resolution and track all launch issues/events along with follow-up’s on progress, recommendations and learnings, taking corrective actions to ensure process improvement
  • Partner closely with Firehouse Marketing, Operations, Legal, Analytics, Communications, and vendors amongst other cross-functional teams to ensure processes and systems are functioning well and new activations are properly executed
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure Firehouse support is priority
  • Support the development and execution of any necessary Commitment Windows
  • Executes window launch action plans and ensures projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Leverage several various sources of data and compile analyses as needed to support execution efforts
  • Contribute content to presentations for strategic projects in a logical and well-thought out manner
  • Contribute to improving the health and profitability of restaurants and the system to increase sales and support sales-driving initiatives
  • Execute window launch action plans and ensures projects are completed on time and within budget

Essential Duties:

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 3-5 years of work experience in QSR, CPG, Retail, or related field, with passion and knowledge of or interest in the QSR Industry
  • Strong business acumen with a high sense of curiosity
  • Track record of exceptional project management, analytical skills, creative problem-solving capabilities, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once
  • Must be a strong project manager, able to interact cross functionally, communicate effectively, and lead teams towards a common goal
  • Must be solution-oriented, able to dissect information, see opportunities, pre-empt potential issues, and find solutions
  • Must have excellent oral and written skills to include formal presentation experience and the ability to prepare and present development presentations
  • Must have the ability to interface and maintain excellent professional relationships with a variety of audiences including franchise partners, food vendors/manufactures, and internal teams
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to work internally and communicate in an effective manner with the field, franchisees, restaurants, and other relevant Firehouse stakeholders
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
