As an experienced QA engineer on our team, you'll play a crucial role in guaranteeing the quality of our Test Drive product. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring that our product meets the highest standards of reliability and performance. Your Role 

• Understand the test specifications that suit test drive deployments and develop detailed test plans for the functionality.
• Automation framework development and enhancements
• Automate test cases and execute as part of new feature testing, and enabling automated regression runs for subsequent releases. 
• Execute the test plans to deliver quality products
• Understand requirements, functional, and design aspects of the product.
• First-year objectives include understanding Nutanix products and tech stack, the virtualization infrastructure, cloud platforms, and storage systems. Additionally, you will work with various engineers to validate features that are being developed and build an automation framework to validate deployment APIs for private and public cloud platforms

What You Will Bring 

• Excellent programming skills and coding in Python, Java, or any other programming language
• Good knowledge of the automation framework
• Experience of 8-10 years in testing enterprise and cloud software
• Experience with automation efforts, writing and debugging automation tests for complex enterprise software
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging
• Experience with Kubernetes (GKE cluster, deployment of pods, services)
• A solid understanding of infrastructure, including storage, networking, and containers is a plus.
• Experience working with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) is a plus.
• A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent with 8+ years of experience is required for this positio

How We Work 

We work in a hybrid style and all our team members enjoy coming to the office 2-3 days a week. We are trying to minimize the number of meetings and nurture the culture of writing and sharing documents, which helped us achieve a more flexible schedule and transparent knowledge sharing. We also have twice-a-week Nutanix lunch days which are a great opportunity to connect with the team and other colleagues in person.
