Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for developing relevant and engaging digital content assets in a style and tone that conveys the brand and drives results. Support the email marketing team with all digital projects including the creation of visual assets for promotional, ad-hoc, and automated trigger campaigns.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop email marketing campaign assets including images, animated GIFs, banners, and interactive content that fit within our luxury brand guidelines.
  • Curate high-quality assets for our weekly promotional emails and ad-hoc email requests according to design guidelines using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Design and code impactful email templates for automated journeys and trigger programs.
  • Host, package and deliver assets that will be used in email campaigns to support overall campaign goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the eCommerce Senior Digital Designer, email and marketing teams on campaign launches and initiatives to fully understand project goals and design needs.
  • Retouch email media files as needed within Photoshop CS for current design projects.
  • Develop multi-lingual email asset versions in support of our international markets.
  • Utilize Monday.com to track and manage projects for approval according to project deadlines.
  • Proactively manage own workflow, time, and expectations, meet deadlines and communicate needs and trade-offs if schedule is in jeopardy.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree

FIELD(S) OF STUDY: In Communications, Fine Arts, Graphic Design or related field of study; or equivalent relevant work experience and education combined.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 years' design experience in a corporate or agency environment is required. 2+ years of experience in email marketing, online or travel industry experience a plus. Experience working in enterprise-level email marketing platforms (i.e.: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Oracle Responsys or Marigold Engage) is a plus.
  • Strong portfolio that includes Digital Design.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:

  • Strong typographic skills are necessary as well as an understanding of visual hierarchy in digital design.
  • Ability to receive creative direction and accept feedback, while being able to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Deadline oriented, adept at organizing and managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of layout and composition in line with current graphic design trends.
  • Strong production, execution skills, and digital design.
  • Online portfolio and work samples required.
  • Strong knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite including Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Excel, Acrobat, Email on Acid or Litmus, Liveclicker or other interactive email solutions.
