JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:

The Global SAP EWM Architect, is responsible for architecting, designing, and supporting the delivery of SAP EWM processes and providing solutions. The Global SAP EWM Architect works with a team of SAP professionals and collaborates with other SAP and non-SAP team members towards defining, enhancing, and integrating SAP EWM solution across the ERP platform and related business processes. As a Global SAP EWM Architect, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for development of globally standardized Warehouse/Logistics processes and strategies to achieve Bendix strategic goals and objectives
• Participation in SAP EWM transformation project as main business process consultant
• Create business requirement specifications (Blueprints) and find solution approaches together with IT
• Prepare and support the executes of tests in collaboration with the IT and Validation team
• Review and assess global and regional change proposals together with IT department to ensure system harmonization
• Works with system integrator(s) to define and/or review and develop all aspects of the SAP architectural design and integration implementation. Act as an escalation point for solution design or issues.
• Propose solutions that create value and meets business needs. Participate in software selection.
• Support best practice sharing within Warehouse/Logistics processes inclusive local and regional key user trainings
• Mentoring locations by carrying out Audits, define measures for improvement by deviations at performance or standard processes
• Work effectively with co-workers, internal and external customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of business or consulting experience for assigned process area, preferred automotive industry
• Demonstrated experience with SAP EWM warehouse management system
• Very strong experience on SAP R/3 or SAP HANA system
• Good understanding of the master data elements associated with the assigned process and SAP modules
• Fluent in English language
• Strong analytical skills and team player approach; willingness to push for change and improvements in the structural setup also against resistance

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, supply chain or related field
