In this role, you will lead with a culture of trust, transparency, compliance, diversity, inclusion, and accountability. You will work within a multi-discipline team (e.g., multi spectral image processing, mechanical design, electrical design) to design develop and debug multi spectral image processing algorithms and radiometric and other simulation models of differing fidelity which represent the elements of a system. This requires the ability to read, debug, edit and create computer programming code to enhance image processing algorithms, simulation models, creating and executing unit tests on the models to verify functionality, documenting the design and test results, and integrating with other models in a complex system simulation environment.

This is an On-Site role in El Segundo, California

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Develop, execute, and analyze simulations in a high-performance computing environment, which can include the use of Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), to support electrooptical infrared (EO/IR) system design/trade studies, performance assessment, algorithm enhancements, algorithm validation and integrated system tests.

Work within a team to develop analysis of the data for the specific task as well as provide insight and understanding of the system performance, recognizing, and troubleshooting any anomalies observed in the simulation results.

Ensure the solutions provided meet their defined requirements and function as needed through verification and validation. This activity utilizes data from several sources up to and including system level testing.

Mentor the early career engineers and review their work for quality.
