Description:Applies principles of Earned Value Management

(EVM) to lead preparation of budgets and schedules

for contract work and performs and/or assists in

financial analyses such as funding profiles, EAC

forecasting, and variance analysis on a program

requiring full DFARs EVMS reporting. Must have

broad understanding of EVMS and ability to utilize

EVM processes and procedures to manage

program on a daily basis. Creates Long Range Plan for Program including orders/sales/EBIT/cash forecast and prepares quarterly Contract Status Report (CSR) package. Leads preparation of program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled. Work with Program Management, IPT Leads, Finance Management, and Functional Finance Analysts to ensure the program meets its financial commitments. Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government. Incorporates contractual changes into control systems. Maintains awareness of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines. Develops and submits EVM monthly and quarterly CDRL reporting requirements to the customer. Performs other related duties and assignments as required. Considered an emerging authority in financial analysis and Earned Value Management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Finance experience
  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management
  • Bachelor's degree

Desired Skills:

  • Working knowledge of the Earned Value Management (EVM) Industry Standard ANSI / EIA 748-A. Considered an emerging authority in financial analysis and EVMS.
  • Ability to multi-task and take on challenging assignments
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Aptitude to facilitate results, self-starter attitude, process oriented, structured problem solver
  • Ability to work independently and work collaboratively with teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Working knowledge of EFS (EAC, CSR Model, MDR)
  • Program finance experience to include monthly and quarterly program financial status preparation and analysis
  • Orders, Sales, EBIT and Cash forecasting experience and ability to interface with senior management
  • Bachelor's degree, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a Master's degree

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
