Senior Accounting Manager

What You Will Be Doing

  • Oversee the maintenance and integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Monitor and analyse general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies, variances, and trends, and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Be a key player in the month-end and year-end closing processes, coordinating with various departments to ensure all financial transactions are recorded and reconciled promptly.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as needed.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, such as accruals, leases and fixed Assets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare lease accounting journal entries as per ASC842/IFRS16.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including income statement and balance sheet.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, standards, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal, external and SOX auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations during audit processes.
  • Implement and streamline procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Supervise and mentor a couple of GL accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management.

Requirements

  • 10 Years experience
  • CA Required
  • Knowledge about India accounting preferred 

Location

India – Gurgaon or Bangalore office
