Title: Web QA Manager

Manager, Quality Assurance

Position Summary: As a manager of software quality assurance, you will be responsible for managing Web Software Quality Assurance teams and processes to support manual and automated testing of the software solutions, as well as the consistent release management of solutions across the enterprise. This includes leading and growing the Web Software Quality Assurance teams in designing and implementing best practices and tooling for testing including unit, functional, integration, system, and regression using both manual and automated processes to deliver faster with high quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor and help expand web software quality assurance team.
  • Oversee end-to-end test capabilities across numerous development teams running in parallel to deliver world-class consumer experiences.
  • Drive best practices in efficient use of simulation, automation, and manual test techniques to provide highest business value.
  • Track key quality metrics and triage defects.
  • Grow the capabilities of the group and champion both transformation and continual improvement in test tools & practices to gain efficiency and relentlessly improve customer experiences.
  • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates; prioritizing work with general direction/minimal supervision

Job Requirements:

  • BS / MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline
  • 3+ years of technical management experience, directly involving complex software testing on a retail website, utilizing Agile, Scrum, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
  • 3+ years of experience in Software Web testing using Best-in-Class Web Content Management platforms, preferably Sitecore Content Management
  • 3+ years of experience with Responsive and Mobile device browser testing including good working knowledge of Cross Browser and Cross Device testing
  • Has successfully integrated and grown automation coverage into existing manual test processes.
  • Direct experience leading Onshore and Offshore Quality Teams
  • Demonstrated experience in measuring and reporting quality-related metrics to identify trends and proactively solve problems
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
