The role

What you’d be accountable for

  • Seeking a skilled Field Marketing Manager to help build and execute field marketing programs for Czech Republic and Slovakia and work closely with the broader Marketing Team in CEE. The Field Marketing Manager will deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive awareness, influence and engagement to generate pipeline as we grow our local presence. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills and creative flair;
  • The ideal candidate is a B2B marketer with a track record of partnering with regional sales teams and managing demand generation programs to drive strong demand generation results. We’re seeking someone with a combination of strategic thinking, collaborative decision making, relationship building, and a desire to think outside the box;
  • The role will sit within our Marketing team and will involve working closely with sales, business development, services and partners;
  • SoftwareONE is seeking a capable marketing professional who can hit the ground running in an exciting fast-paced environment with responsibility for planning and executing campaigns with SoftwareONE’s strategic partners and vendors;

The Field Marketing Manager role includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities: 

  • Define country specific marketing plans that support the regional sales strategy;
  • Create and oversee online and offline events to promote net-new sales opportunities, improve existing sales opportunities, deepen existing customer relationships and drive brand awareness;
  • Plan and execute high quality owned or sponsored roundtables, workshops, meetups, executive breakfasts/dinners, customer-led panels, and partner events, etc.;
  • Work closely with regional sales teams to understand specific market priorities;
  • Collaborate with sales team on follow-up activities and supervise the action points on post-event activities;
  • Track, measure and communicate program results, and seek to generate new global best practices through experimental efforts;
  • Ensure programs and event details are on brand and consistent across all channels;
  • Support on larger events in Czech Republic and Slovakia such as tradeshows, user conferences roadshows, customer or vendor summits;
  • Maintain and further develop your relationships structure with your counterparts at Microsoft, Dell, Amazon, Google, SAP and etc.;
  • Lead, manage and implement key industry events – live and digital – inclusive of logistics, coordination with speakers, budget, sales enablement and promotion plans (web, email, social) before, during and after the event;
  • Communicate results to leadership; adjust tactics as needed to achieve goals; ensures all projects are delivered on time and on budget;
  • Writes, edits, designs, and proofs marketing content for field programs;
  • Work closely with other marketing partners within the team to align strategy across all initiatives and campaigns,
  • Project management skills;
  • A highly organized, team player who forms strong interpersonal relationships;
  • Comfortable working independently, maintaining strong attention to detail while juggling many projects simultaneously;
  • Able to work well with cross functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure the success of event sponsorships and company-led events;
  • Builds trust, credibility and demonstrates strong self-confidence - positive and collaborative attitude.

What we need to see from you

  • Knowledge and experience marketing within the IT Services industry;
  • Experience in planning and implementing B2B demand generation campaigns with a track record of pipeline results;
  • Experience developing creative, original thought leadership content for lead generation and lead nurturing;
  • Experience in managing a broad range of marketing campaign activities whether it be direct mail, content, emails, events or webinars, etc.;
  • Experience within managing campaigns to specific targeted industries;
  • ‘Hands-on’ experience with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools such as Marketo will be your benefit,
  • Strong communication and writing skills;
  • We seek a proactive professional who views marketing as a tool for lead generator, ensuring that every marketing effort contributes to our business and services;
  • A ‘Do-er’ with a confident, enthusiastic and positive approach and attitude is from our point the key!
