Global CRM Project
Existing CRM Platform
1. Database alignment and enhancement
Play a key role in driving architectural changes in the North database to align with South database in readiness for a future database merge. Identify opportunities to review and enhance our data management processes.
2. Improve data integrity
Identify opportunities to enhance our data integrity by supporting client teams and offices to perform health checks on lists and data sets, and encouraging MIA data advisors to automate or enhance legacy data practices that are now outdated.
3. Lead on upgrades for North
Manage the relationship with IT to ensure upgrades are pushed through in a timely manner, testing and training is provided as required and issues are raised with IT and vendor as required.
Marketing Platform & Stack Focus
1. Email Marketing and Self Service
Develop the priority activities in vuture, as well as promote and manage the uptake of self service amongst PGs and sector teams.
2. Drive automation and personalisation
Support Head of and Snr Mgr to evolve Vuture functionality, improve templates, trial personalisation and testing capabilities – all with the aim to enhance performance of client comms.
3. Campaign scheduling
Work together with counterpart in Australia and the marketing team to improve (with the view to automate) campaign scheduling – including exploring opportunities to introduce social media scheduling as part of our marketing stack. Be proactive with identifying potential client spam issues when multiple campaigns are scheduled to be sent on the same day and provide possible solutions.
3. Digital marketing communications
Take a keen interest in understanding the broader client content strategy and the role the marketing stack provides within that. Play an active role in spotting opportunities to improve client comms before they go out to clients given we are the last step in the marketing process.
Data Analytics
PowerBI, InterAction, Vuture, Google Analytics, Ceros, Soundcloud, SEO
1. Data Knowledge
Understand the data across platforms, and build skills to use PowerBI as the main source of truth – collaborating with Australia to produce global dashboards.
2. Reporting
Collaborate with Australia on developing and launching reports into the business that aim to understand client engagement. Work together with Marketing to produce ROI dashboards that showcase the performance of key campaigns.
3. Channel Performance Analysis
Understand and advise on the performance of channels and activities including search engines, social media, and email analytics in order to improve engagement.
Team Leadership
On-the-ground leadership of two marketing administrators based in London. Confident to influence and coach team to help drive efficiency, streamline processes, and align practices with Australia team and best practice. Although administrators report directly to Head of, as the most senior team member in London must have the drive to take on a team lead role including leading projects, appropriately delegating tasks within the team and influencing decisions on change.
Proficient and driven to lead projects, bringing members of the MIA team and other internal stakeholders together to achieve the desired outcomes. Confident to present to senior stakeholders within the firm and help to influence outcomes and drive change.
Business Continuity Planning
In a crisis, will be required to help manage the client communications process for UK/Europe, together with Head of Marketing Insights and Automation. Will be required to communicate to senior business stakeholders during a crisis and think quickly and laterally about the best approach to achieve desired outcomes for Herbert Smith Freehills.
