Job Description

Are you an experienced Subject Matter Expert in the area of Content Management? Do you have what it takes to support a product team in their development planning, modernization, and scaling of the Content Management Solutions? If your answer is yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for you! 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a subject matter expert in content management systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CMS architecture, functionalities, and integrations, and will play a key role in optimizing our content management processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the platform to automate the content and asset planning, creation, and optimization processes for e-commerce and marketing communications. 

Responsibilities: 

Your primary responsibility is to ensure the solution meets end-user needs and brings value to the business. You will closely collaborate with content editors, authors, product managers, data analysts, engineers, experience designers, and other business stakeholders. Your focus will be identifying and prioritizing desired features and functionalities for the CMS and determining how improvements can be realized to deliver business value. 

In addition, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Acting as a point of contact between business stakeholders and the product team to bridge the understanding of the product's purpose and business requirements. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of existing business needs and processes, utilizing data and user insights to make informed business decisions. 
  • Identifying new features based on desired business requirements and end-user needs, while assessing feasibility and requirements. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to customize CMS functionalities and workflows according to business requirements. 
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for user inquiries, technical issues, and escalations, provide training and support related to CMS usage, functionalities, and best practices. 
  • Establish content governance policies and procedures to streamline content workflows, version control, and permissions management. 

Qualifications

As a Business Expert, you understand and analyse information and determine best course of action, resulting in business value & end-user satisfaction. You take responsibility, work proactively and continuously improve activities in a fast-paced dynamic and technical environment. You have great skills in influencing others, at all levels within the organization and you can effectively communicate your ideas, both within the team and with different stakeholders and prioritize what needs to be done based on business requirements and potential impact. You are truly a doer, willing to get hands-on solving any problems needed to help the product move forward. 

In addition to this, we’re looking for someone who has: 

  • Proven experience (5+ Years) in marketing tech solutions related to content creation, management, delivery, and automation. 
  • In-depth and hands on knowledge in popular headless Content Management Systems such as Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, Sitecore, Optimizely etc. 
  • Strong understanding of the CMS technical architecture, integrations, and functionalities. 
  • Strong understanding of content management concepts, including taxonomy, metadata, and content fragments. 
  • Hands on experience in business requirement gathering, analysis, reporting and documentation. 
  • Previous working experience in E-Commerce Operations, Marketing Communication Operations and Multi-market Content Production within retail or similar content heavy industries. 
  • Experience working with and managing external vendors and solution providers. 
  • Strong understanding of user behaviors, customer journey, end-user feedback. 
  • Ability to create business cases tied to value proposition based on identified market opportunities. 
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to set processes, identify new possibilities and engage community to share best practices. 
  • Project & stakeholders management skills with strong understanding of agile ways of working and communication tools (Jira, Confluence, Miro etc.)
