Position Summary: 

The Quality Inspector works directly under the Quality Manager on various quality-related tasks. They support the strategy of compliance with quality objectives and document issues with product. 

What You'll Do: 

  • Supports the overall strategy for compliance with quality objectives. 
  • Conducts mechanical, visual and certification verification of material features as required by the Quality department to ensure compliance with the purchase Order, internal drawing, and specifications. 
  • Document non-conformances and submit non-conformance related to internal and external issues, ensuring proper disposition is carried out. 

What You'll Bring: 

  • Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality system is required. 
  • 2-4+ years of RECENT QA / quality inspector experience in Manufacturing (Automotive/Aerospace) industry OR another highly regulated / similar industry like medical device manufacturing, etc. 
  • Broad extensive knowledge of methods, processes, equipment, and techniques in manufacturing, development, and engineering. 
  • Experienced referencing & reading blueprints. 
  • Intermediate skill level of MS Word and Excel. 

Desired Characteristics: 

  • Works well independently and in a team setting. 
  • Must possess good documentation skills to maintain neat and accurate records. 
  • Able to work in a manufacturing and/or clean room environment.
