Open Rank Faculty Position in Oncology Research

The MAYO CLINIC DEPARTMENT OF MOLECULAR PHARMACOLOGY & EXPERIMENTAL THERAPEUTICS (MPET), DEPARTMENT OF ONCOLOGY, and MAYO CLINIC COMPREHENSIVE CANCER CENTER (MCCCC) announce multiple searches for open rank Faculty members with expertise in the broad field of cancer molecular pharmacology and novel therapeutics. Candidates should have knowledge and expertise in one or more of the following areas: Target identification through functional genomics, computation-based drug design, drug development, drug or therapeutic nucleic acid delivery, or cancer microenvironment and heterogeneity.

The ideal candidates will each have a history of productivity, team-based and individual accomplishment, and NIH-equivalent extramural funding or high potential to secure competitive extramural funding. The recruited scientists or physician-scientists have the opportunity to collaborate within MPET and Oncology, other basic science and clinical departments as well as Centers, including MCCCC, Center for Regenerative Biotherapeutics and Center for Individualized Medicine across the Mayo Clinic enterprise (i.e., Mayo Clinic Health System, Mayo Clinic sites in Arizona, Minnesota, and Florida). In addition, as faculty members in MPET or Oncology, successful candidates will be highly encouraged to participate in education, training, and departmental activities.
