We are looking for an Sales Manager-Pathology imaging, North &East to help us develop the tissue diagnostics market by generating funnel, increasing market share and driving geographical expansion in Tier 2 & 3 cities. The role location is New Delhi and entails working in remote mode driving the growth and development of Leica Biosystems Business across North & East India.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Promote all LBS products in accordance with marketing and sales strategies to meet needs and benefits of customers. Expand LBS market share with a specific focus on Digital pathology adopting accounts by visiting customers directly and collaborating with distributors/partners to make LBS the first choice of customers. You would also need to manage channels in order to drive supply and availability of the products.

Major responsibilities we will trust you with:

  • Develop business and commercial strategies while collaborating with the affiliates within the assigned region to drive the Digital Pathology & Workflow portfolio, including Cerebro.
  • Drive the brand strategy for the Digital Pathology & Workflow portfolio across the cited product lines and work closely with the affiliates for commercialization while creating new clinical insights and product workflows.
  • Work on major clinical & Life science accounts to introduce Aperio and engage them into discussion and negotiations
  • Learn and own the Aperio range of slide scanners including eSM and other Indica labs portfolio.
  • Support the affiliates marketing and sales teams for the launches, train other affiliate specific insights and grow sales of Digital Pathology and Workflow solutions.
  • Define a business strategy of the overall performance of Digital Pathology & Workflow in the APAC region by combining solutions within the digital ecosystem.
  • To strengthen visibility among Aperio users preferably and suggest scalable solutions as and when needed.
  • Make strategic, customer-centric decisions on product / segment and explore new commercial business models thus driving product growth.
  • Stay abreast of trends in the external environment that could impact the business currently as well as in the future.
  • Developing customer-specific strategies for digital pathology adoption, while work closely with KOLs, Histopathology laboratory / administrative leadership for digital pathology transformation
  • Close collaboration with stakeholders across sales, service, application and marketing peers within the region & also engage with CDL for APAC.
  • Have insights into trends or technology for the systems portfolio. Identify how to tap into these trends to streamline performance, become market shapers and grow market share.
  • Provide support to business analysis, KPI tracking and other projects as required.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

  • Bachelors / Masters in field of Life science / Pharmacy is must
  • Minimum 6-8 years of sales experience in medical diagnostics or life science field especially in divisions dealing in High end Microscopy.
  • Proficient level language fluency in English , Hindi & other regional language will be plus.
  • Experience in a combination of IVD instrumentation and consumables business. Exposure to government tenders process will be added advantage
  • Work experience in CRMs like SFDC
  • Agile and willing to travel 50% in a month
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills with a scientific approach for the customers
