The OIPA Configurator works on medium to large customer-facing project teams to implement and support the Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) application for customers primarily across Insurance and Financial industries. In this role you will translate technical design documents into configuration tasks, configure and test the application based upon the design, troubleshoot any issues, and provide configuration support to your project team. The OIPA Configurator typically serves as an individual contributor but with experience may become a trusted team lead. Must be able to work independently as this is a full-time remote position for India. Must be able to work an adjusted schedule to allow for some overlap with North America time zones. Some travel required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project team to configure and deliver high quality solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise
  • Analyze and resolve any issues related to configuration or design
  • Maintain a focus on customer success, interacting with customers at all job levels
  • Utilize a structured project delivery methodology
  • Adhere to project timelines and successful completion of project deliverables and activities
  • Deliver projects with high quality and high customer satisfaction
  • Connect, engage, and build a diverse and inclusive broader Oracle Insurance community

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other related focus and/or equivalent job experience
  • 1+ years’ experience configuring Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) application
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 25%
  • Strong desire to build a career within Consulting

  • Strong business acumen and work and/or internship experience
  • Communicate confidently in a clear, concise, and articulate manner – verbal and written

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with advanced configuration of OIPA
  • Strong insurance industry domain knowledge
  • Experience with XML, SQL, relational database, and MS Office
  • Understanding of full software development lifecycle, system design and development processes
  • Knowledge of various project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of insurance and/or annuity products
  • OCI, AWS, Azure Cloud exposure
