It’s time to flex your creative skills (and get paid for it)! REDW’s Marketing team is looking for a part-time Social Media Intern.

What you will be doing...

• Draft compelling and professional copy, design images, and edit short-form videos for the company’s social media accounts.
• Brainstorm social media campaign ideas, media formats, design, and timing.
• Research developing social media trends and considerations for corporate brands.
• Help firm-wide team members learn social media basics and provide follow-up to social media help requests.
• As needed, attend firm events to take pictures and quickly develop posts for the firm’s social media accounts.
• Monitor various social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and X.
• Analyze analytics and help gather data to gauge the success of campaigns.
• Assist in creating marketing performance reports.
• Learn and help communicate the overall concept of the firm, including the brand voice, vision, service lines, client groups, and other aspects of service.
• Provide suggestions to marketing management for improving user experience on social platforms and internal processes.
• Become proficient on internal software systems like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and more.

• Audio and Video Editing: Proficiency in editing audio and video clips from webinars and podcasts to create engaging content for social media.
• Content Synthesis: Capability to synthesize information from various sources and adapt it for social media platforms while maintaining brand consistency.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, trends, and strategies in social media marketing.
• Creative Thinking: Capacity to brainstorm and generate innovative ideas for social media content that resonate with the target audience.

What will help you succeed...

• In 3rd or 4th year of college under-graduate program or beyond.
• Prior industry experience in marketing or finance is a plus.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to collaborate with team members and convey ideas effectively.
• Graphic Design: Proficiency in designing images, gifs, and animated videos using tools like Canva.
• Copywriting: Ability to draft engaging and concise copy for social media posts, ensuring alignment with the brand's voice and message.
• Photography and Videography: Experience in capturing and editing high-quality photos and short videos, especially during company events, to be used on social media platforms.
• Social Media Management: Basic understanding of social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and X) and their best practices for posting and engagement.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail in both written and visual content to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
• Time Management: Capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively, prioritizing tasks as needed.
