About the role

As a QA Engineer at Sky Mavis, you will play a crucial role in assessing software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for identifying and reporting bugs and glitches, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Operating at the bleeding edge of blockchain technology, many of your responsibilities may involve experiments that have never been conducted before. To thrive in this role, you'll need to be bright, nimble, and willing to innovate. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Collaborating with Product Owners and Product Designers to understand project requirements.
• Designing and implementing automation test scripts, debugging, and defining corrective actions.
• Creating and executing manual test cases based on provided requirements.
• Working closely with the development team to analyze and identify the root cause of bugs.
• Proactively optimizing and improving the development process of the engineering team.
• Performing thorough regression testing when needed.
• Identifying, analyzing, and reporting test results.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• At least 1 year of experience with strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and the ability to research and acquire knowledge about it.
• Experience in API backend test
• Experience in developing test automation

Nice to have

• Experience in manual testing with exposure to the blockchain industry is highly preferable.
• Experience in performance testing.
• Experience in Smart Contract testing.
• Good knowledge of decentralized applications (dApps).
