Boeing India Software Engineering team is currently looking for one "Senior Software Architect - .Net Full Stack" to join their team in Chennai, TN. As a Senior Architect, you will be part of the Application Solutions team, which develops software applications and Digital products that create direct value to its customers. We provide re-vamped work environments focused on delivering data-driven solutions at a rapidly increased pace over traditional development. Position Responsibilities:

  • As a Senior Software Architect, you'll be at the forefront of innovation and impact. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leverage your core expertise (.Net and related technologies) to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our diverse clientele.
  • Performing software engineering activities including architecture, requirements, development, integration and testing
  • Lead efforts to develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, interfaces, designs, and algorithms.
  • Communicate complex technical design, vision, roadmap, industry standards, solution intents and software architecture documents to teams and stakeholders
  • Plan and develop the architectural runway (Spikes, PoCs, technical analysis) in support of new business features and capabilities
  • Develop and maintain code, unit test and integrate complex software components.
  • Provide technical leadership for software projects.
  • Lead development, selection, tailoring, and deployment of software processes, tools, and metrics.
  • Develop software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments for complex systems.
  • Research, advise, compare and recommend technology solutions; ability to demonstrate and maintain method of keeping current on new technologies
  • Provide technical solutions for a diverse range of challenges.
  • Collaborate, mentor, and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Work under minimal direction.
  • Should have demonstrated ability to work in an AGILE environment.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • A Bachelor degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in below skill domains
  • Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core (MVC, Blazor) and related technologies. 
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and at least one of the front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, NodeJS).
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Expertise in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with various data formats (JSON, XML).
  • In-depth knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) and ORMs (Entity Framework, Dapper). Familiarity with NoSQL databases and concepts.
  • Working exposure with Agile (Scrum & SAFe) and DevOps
  • Understanding of software testing principles and practices, including unit and integration tests.
  • Cloud Basics: Understanding of fundamental cloud computing concepts such as what cloud computing is, its benefits, deployment models (public, private, hybrid), and service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Familiarity with one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Desired Skills (Preferred qualifications):

  • Experience in DevSecOps tools and processes 
  • Experience with observability products (such as ELK stack, EFK Stack, Azure monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
  • Have experience in ALM tools (GitLab, Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Artifactory, SonarQube, Ansible, ClearCase).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and analytically.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Prior experience in Aviation domain is a plus.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and personal development.
  • Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, etc. is preferred
