Position Summary

1. Develop systematic advertisement strategy to build positive PR in alignment to the IMC(Integrated Marketing Communication) strategy.

2. Increase the company's product and brand awareness via media exposure and manage their reputation.

Role and Responsibilities

1. [PR strategy development] Participate in the bidding process and vendor registration for PR agencies annually.

2. [PR strategy development] Participate in the development of the company's or the product's advertisement message and strategy. 

3. [PR contents planning and production] Create PR contents for external release (press release, media kit, interview, keynote speech, advertising articles, etc.) and participate in the accompanied events (press conference, company event, etc.).

4. [PR Stakeholder management] Prepare for programs for maintaining amicable relationships with various stakeholders (media, analyst, influencer, etc.) to build positive PR.

5. [PR] Support Samsung Levant across all departments (IM, CE, CSR & B2B) with initiating Local Press Releases & announcements, & coordinate with team members to align PR along products launches, sales promotions & any local news & initiates.

6. [PR Media monitoring & risk management] Monitor key articles and public opinion regarding the company or products (product lines) and catch issues when they arise.

7.[PR and trips arrangement] Manage company events management & arrangements of the company’s international & regional events, in terms of managing guests' bookings & all traveling aspects, and to meet the deliverables of each event to raise the PR buzz & awareness. This includes media, partners, customer in global events such as Unpacked events, IFA, MENA Forum, CES.

8. [PR] Working on regular basis to enhance CEM score as well as continuously improving the volume and quality of local PR content vs. regional and global ones.

9. [PR] Maintain & deliver coverage evaluation matrix (CEM) report, which is a vital tool for the public relations functions that assess editorial impressions on monthly basis & share with RHQ. 

10. [Influencers Management] Manage the Influencer Management agency process, including contract approval process, influencers creative ideas , approving final storyboards.

11. [Techies Management] Support Tech Bloggers to have Samsung products for reviews & techie opinions to be posted on their YT & FB channels.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Develops professional expertise by complying with company policies and procedures
  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analyzing situations or data requires a review on various factors
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Normally receives general instructions on routine work with detailed instructions on new projects or assignments
  • Generally, requires a bachelor's degree with a minimum 4 years related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or any related field.
  • Native in Arabic & Fluent in English
