Are you an experienced Human Resources professional with a diverse skill set looking for an exciting opportunity in the government sector? We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our client team as a Human Resources Business Partner in Round Rock, TX.

Pay Rate: $70,000- $80,000 per year

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

(Opportunity for hybrid schedule and up to 1-2 days of remote work per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review resumes, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews, ensuring compliance with government hiring regulations and policies.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, while maintaining confidentiality and fairness.
  • Administer FMLA and Workers' Compensation programs, providing guidance to employees and managers and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Oversee the full cycle of recruitment, from job posting and sourcing to selection and onboarding, utilizing effective strategies to attract top talent.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, conducting orientation sessions and ensuring smooth integration into the organization.
  • Manage offboarding procedures, conduct exit interviews, and process termination paperwork in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Guide employees through change processes, including organizational restructuring and policy updates, and assist with necessary forms and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HR initiatives and programs that support organizational goals and foster a positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of diverse Human Resources experience, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment, and compliance.
  • Experience working in the government sector or a regulated industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and EEOC guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • SHRM or PHR certification is a plus.
