Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Thursday
Salary: $17.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Operator/Production Worker. Candidates will be responsible for operating machinery, following production instructions, and ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the production line.
Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Monitor the production process to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet production targets.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor production issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production workflow.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced and any issues encountered.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production progress and any challenges faced.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Operator/Production Worker is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Ability to follow instructions and operate machinery accurately and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the quality of products.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects when required.
- Flexibility to work Monday to Thursday and occasional overtime if needed.
- Good communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills for recording production data and operating machinery interfaces.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety practices.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
