Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Operations Supervisor to join our amazing culture. This role is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction by effectively executing all assigned Convergint Technologies projects, assisting the Operations Manager, and overseeing Project Managers and/or Service Coordinators in all aspects of the project. As an Operations Supervisor, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

• Maintains excellent customer relations, including prompt response to customer requests and maintaining frequent customer contact. Acts as “our customer’s best service provider” at all times thereby ensuring Convergint Technologies is the customer’s first choice for installation and service. 
• Develops and implements operations strategies that improve execution and provide additional value to customers in a cost effective manner.
• Oversees Project Managers and/or Service Coordinators with all elements of job management, including projected costs/cost control, subcontracts, Certificates of Insurance, man-power planning and scheduling, preparation of invoices, material procurement, material handling and collections. 
• Proactively communicates project schedules, project change proposals and related project activities on a regular basis with customer and seek to continuously improve customer satisfaction. 
• Helps develop and implement operations strategies that improve installation and service delivery and provide additional value to customers in a cost effective manner.
• Responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction by effectively executing all assigned projects.
• Responsible for the effective management of resources, costs and customer satisfaction for effective project completion and delivery.
• Assists the Operations Manager and oversees Project Managers and/or Coordinators in all aspects of the project.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

• Leadership Orientation – Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model, guide, develop and mentor others within the Operations Department.
• Strong financial analytical skills including cost control.
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills.
• Strong team leadership, team building and facilitation skills.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: 3-5 years relevant

Preferred Experience: (but not required): 

• Engineering, Field, or project management
• Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation
• Previous project supervisory
