Job Title: BY WMS Technical Consultant

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced BY (Blue Yonder) Warehouse Management System (WMS) Technical Consultant with expertise in MOCA Commands to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, customizing, and supporting BY WMS solutions, leveraging their deep understanding of MOCA scripting language and its integration within the WMS environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implementation and Customization: Lead the implementation and customization efforts of BY WMS solutions based on client requirements and business needs. Utilize MOCA scripting language to develop custom functionalities, workflows, and interfaces within the WMS platform.
2. Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve complex issues related to BY WMS implementation, configuration, and integration. Collaborate closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
3. Integration: Design, develop, and maintain integrations between BY WMS and other enterprise systems such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), TMS (Transportation Management System), and MES (Manufacturing Execution System). Ensure seamless data flow and process integration across systems.
4. System Optimization: Identify opportunities for system optimization, performance improvement, and scalability enhancement within the BY WMS environment. Implement best practices and recommend solutions to optimize system efficiency and productivity.
5. Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals. Conduct training sessions for end-users and technical teams to ensure proper understanding and utilization of BY WMS functionalities and features.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives.
7. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends, developments, and advancements in BY WMS technology, MOCA scripting language, and related areas. Continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge through self-learning and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (X years) in implementing and customizing BY Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions.
• Extensive expertise in MOCA scripting language and its application within the WMS environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics processes, and supply chain management concepts.
• Hands-on experience with integration technologies and protocols such as APIs, web services, XML, and EDI.
• Proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language) for data analysis, querying, and manipulation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications in BY WMS and MOCA scripting language would be advantageous.
