Exercise Physiologist, Cardiac Rehab - per diem - (3274758)

Description

The Exercise Physiologist is a vital member of the multidisciplinary cardiac rehabilitation team.

The Exercise Physiologist assesses patients; develops, implements and monitors exercise sessions as well as provide patient/family education as it relates to exercise, home exercise program, self¬ monitoring, risk factors/modifications and behavioral interventions. 

Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to effectively interact with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds in a rapidly changing environment.
• Minimum of a Cardiac Rehabilitation Internship or 1-2 years experience in cardiac rehabilitation program. Other requirements are dependent on type and/or current needs of the unit. 
• Completion of an accredited degree program at the bachelor’s level Science in Exercise Physiology, Physical Therapy, Nursing or another Clinical Science degree is required.
