The Digital Complementary Applications team supports multiple applications and programs designed for supporting Finance and Administrative functions across Mass General Brigham enterprise, requiring varying levels of end-user support. The portfolio of applications includes but is not limited to: Qualtrics (Employee Surveys), Adobe Sign (eSignature), Ellucid (Policy Management), Graduway (Alumni Management), Student Placement, Einstein (Nursing POI/Contingent Workforce Management).

This position will specialize in supporting a broad range of employees across our member institutions. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the supported applications, including: developing in-depth understanding of the available features and modules; identifying and administering the optimal application settings per user requirements; provisioning access; and training/educating personnel in the use and functions of the application. In addition, you may be asked to support concurrent software platform and feature implementations, coordinate integration services, and provide project management support for the applications in the portfolio.

You will work closely with staff at all levels at MGB, external vendors and collaborators across Digital.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the system administrator for SaaS applications such as Qualtrics, Adobe Sign and other products
  • Provide ongoing support of the software applications by identifying, resolving, and escalating issues as needed for timely resolution
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and proactively drive resolution
  • Liaise with vendors and/or Digital colleagues to resolve issues, add system features, and support implementation efforts
  • Use project/ticketing system to communicate with end users and manage project requests
  • Develop, publish, and maintain documentation on application features, best practices and training content to support end-users
  • Run reports and perform other tasks associated with the ongoing operation of the software environment
  • Work independently with diverse sets of clients and manage a diverse set of tasks
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss team activities, issues, and updates

Qualifications

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required 
  • 3-5 years of healthcare information technology experience
  • A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements
  • Strong technical skills
  • Ability to deeply understand application functions and technical documentation required
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Skills/Abilities/Competencies

  • Experience in the development, support, or operation of software applications, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to document workflows and business processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with cross functional teams including staff at all levels of the organization including both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Strong creative decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, and possesses the ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrates excellence in project management skills (ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements) with a strong commitment to customer service
  • Demonstrates excellence in project or application requirements gathering, including documenting user and systems specifications
  • Proven ability to identify, triage, action plan, resolve or escalate issues; develop flexible solutions (work arounds) to meet evolving requirements
  • Ability to run large and small-scale projects concurrently across various applications
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Ability to deliver effective training programs and large group presentations
