We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Software Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for design, develop, and delivery of software products or solutions. You will work in agile environment that adopts DevOps ways of working.   

Responsibilities:  

• As a full stack engineer you would be working on development of both front end and back-end modules of application deployed in a cloud environment 
• Proven expertise as developer in large enterprise platforms that involve multitude of integrations, security and handling large data volumes 
• Work closely with stakeholders to define or validate product requirements, design, establish timelines, develop, test and implement 
• Have keen interest and inclination to understand the domain and business and expand into high ownership level of solutioning and delivery rather than working at transactional level 
• Understand the process and workflows and adhere to strict quality standards set by AstraZeneca 
• Ensure application stability, uptime, understand metrics that matter and focus to add business value through continuous culture of upskilling and innovation 

Requirements:  

• 8+ years of development experience in an enterprise environment 
• Relevant experience in Lifesciences industry is an added advantage 
• Core Java (>= Java 8), kotlin, Spring Framework, Spring boot, Micronaut, Python, Typescript, nest.js, GraphQL 
• Strong experience in Angular, React/Redux Frameworks, NPM, NodeJS, YARN 
• Having good knowledge in Junit 5, Apollo, Jasmine, Mocha, Protractor 
• Work experience in running SaaS applications in production. Having strong knowledge in IaC code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, Ansible), Helm. 
• Hand-on experience in Docker, Kubernetes 
• Experience in RDBMS & NoSQL Databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB 
• ORM – JDBC/Hibernate/JPA and SQL queries with Oracle/DB2 databases 
• Tools – Eclipse, IntelliJ, Maven, GIT etc. 
• RESTful Services Development, enhancement and troubleshooting 
• Security Setup for Web Services – OAUTH , Basic Auth etc. 
• Agile Methodology – Knowledge on Story pointing, Acceptance Criteria , Sprint/Iteration Planning, Program Increment Planning etc. 
• Proficiency in cloud-based architectures, preferably in popular cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). 
• Proficiency in software design and architecture, ideally with experience dealing with large datasets. 
• Deep expertise in data security and privacy best practices. 
• Excellent knowledge of clean code concepts, design patterns. Test driven (TDD) and behavioural driven development (BDD) 
• Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable, distributed, and high-performance systems.
