Job Description

Role: SAP ABAP

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Must Have Skills: Core Competencies

  • 5+ years of experience in implementation (Development work) and on global SAP support activities.
  • Knowledge and hands on exposure of all FRICEW objects in ABAP is must.
  • The ABAP consultant must have exposure to work on Reports, interfaces, enhancements, ALE/IDOC, Conversions, Adobe forms, ABAP Workflow, Proxies etc.
  • Experience in Genil, BOL and CRM architecture.
  • Prior experience in creating and changing WEB UI screen, BSP and MVC architecture.
  • Exposure to performance optimization of existing objects.
  • Ready to provide support on Incident Tickets and Enhancements.
  • Should be aware of end-to-end implementation.

Good to Have Skills (Candidate willing to learn as per project need)

  • Hands on development exposure of UI5, FIORI, and ABAP on HANA is desirable.
  • Experience in handling different data conversions like JSON to XML, CSV to XML, etc.
  • Knowledge in handling integrations using ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, REST Adapters
  • Experience in exposing and consuming Webservice using CPI.
  • Expertise in software development and programming using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3
  • Knowledge of daily PI monitoring activities e.g., SXMB_MONI and Demonstrated knowledge of IDoc, OSS notes.
  • Knowledge/experience of PI/PO, HANA, Fiori, ABAP OOPS would be added advantage.
  • Knowledge of any core functional module of SAP like SD, MM, FI and linkages in ABAP are an added advantage.

Objectives:

As part of the team, ensure globally the good management of interfaces around Altair and participate to the development of some specifics:

  • Ensure production is up and running and properly monitored (e.g., ST22 dump analysis).
  • Help on tests performed either by Core Team or power users.
  • Develop new FRICEW objects linked to deployment or the enhancement of the SAP solution.
  • Provide support on incidents and Enhancements in ABAP and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide technical/development assistance to Core team.
  • Ensure that all developments delivered will be reliable, maintainable, fit for purpose and will deliver good performances.
  • Good team player – Get done attitude, able to deliver lessons learned from previous experiences and propose improvements / tools to increase overall services to our internal customers.
  • English is a must in writing and speaking, any other language is a plus - International experience and mindset,
  • Quality oriented ability to deliver and communicate guidelines and reference documentation.

Good communication skills with different teams. Well organized and autonomous.
