Your Team's Impact
As part of FactSet’s Institutional Buy-Side Middle Office Solutions Unit our Risk Quantitative Research and Development team (Risk QRD) is responsible for researching and developing FactSet’s in-house factor based multi-asset class (MAC) risk models. That includes linear factor modeling, risk factors multivariate distribution fitting and Monte Carlo simulation, Full-valuation MAC risk modeling, among others. This is a global team that consists of self-motivated, articulate and highly skilled professionals. A unique blend of people with strong quantitative and technical skills.
The Lead Quantitative Researcher will lead research into enhancing the quality and coverage of FactSet’s advanced quantitative analytics offerings. The Lead Quantitative Researcher is responsible for multiple distinct analytical modules or a large singular domain. Close collaboration with Product, Software engineering and Model Validation groups during the software product development lifecycle is expected. The role requires in-depth knowledge of quantitative finance, the financial markets and quantitative analytics software development. In addition, frequent contact with sales, consulting and clients is required.
