Lee Enterprises is hiring an ambitious, digitally-focused reporter to deliver hyperlocal journalism for the Hickory Daily Record in Hickory, North Carolina.
The person filling this job will join a team of talented journalists who work in concert to cover Hickory, a city of 40,000 nestled in the foothills of the state, and the four surrounding counties. We are about 45 miles from Charlotte, a short drive to the mountains and approximately 4 hours from the Atlantic Ocean.
The Hickory Daily Record is a place to come and grow. The last two reporters who left our team moved into coveted positions within Lee Enterprises.
