Overview:
Reporting directly to the Director of Research & Development, the Administrative Assistant will support the Technical Services Team in an administrative support capacity.
Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support all Technical Services Department personnel in daily responsibilities.
- Manage as needed all Technical Service phone and email solicitations.
- Manage travel arrangements as needed.
- Assist with meeting planning and coordination.
- Prepare and process expenses, purchase orders and invoices.
- Organize filing system for documents/correspondence.
- Data entry.
- Initiate meetings as needed, generate action registers and meeting summaries.
- Assist report generation and tracking for R&D and Cross Functional teams.
- Assist with Executive level reports and summaries.
- Coordinate departmental mailings.
- Proofread department documents.
- Schedule and assist with product reviews.
- Be willing to perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by Tech Services leadership.
- Must use the utmost integrity and discretion at all times while performing duties.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field, or knowledge equivalent to such degree.
- Three (3) to five (5) years administrative experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High proficiency in all MS Office applications, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Organizational skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
