We are looking for a Principal System Engineer 6G (f/m/d) to drive 6G Baseband engineering within the CTO System Innovation team.
Your Responsibilities:
- System engineering for 6G with focus on mmWave communication
- Develop and simulate Baseband signal processing algorithms
- Monitor standardization organizations (3GPP, O-RAN) and implement relevant features
- Participate in the implementation of the signal processing on Silicon
- Participate in state-of-the-art 6G system measurements in cooperation with lab experts
- Develop demonstrators and reference designs
- Cooperation with research & innovation partners as well as with customers
Your Profile:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Telecommunications engineering, Physics or similar
- Professional experience in baseband processing incl. transmit/receive chain, preferably in mmWave
- DSP 5G(+) system level knowledge
- Understanding/working knowledge on O-RAN splits, preferably DU/RU, Multiple RATs, Small cell preferable
- Experience in MIMO layers, eCPRI radios is advantageous
- Beneficial: Have hands on experience on implementing solutions on NXP products & development platforms
- Good strategic thinking skills, driving & result oriented personality
- Be a team player, engaged, self-motivated with an adaptive way of working
- Fluent in English (German would be an asset)
