Senior Data Solution Engineer (m/f/d)

Your purpose:

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated, tech-savvy Solution Engineer (m/f/d) who can build data solutions to support the work of your stakeholders. Your experience should cover designing data solution as well as implementing the data engineering part and the solution itself. You should be familiar with a variety of implementation options and be able to make a good, cost-effective, and sustainable choice.

Your tasks:

• Understanding the stakeholder’s problem and designing the optimal solution using both knowledge and ingenuity
• Be capable of understanding complex data (be it the data in the lakehouse or in legacy Excel sheets)
• Write the ETL, check and model the data, design the dashboard, communicate with your stakeholders empathically
• Willing to learn and to jump in into tasks off the standard tool stack
• Collaborate with Data, Analytics & AI Solution Teams

Your skills:

• Degree in Computer Science or relevant experience in the data world
• 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining data products such as Reports, Dashboards and underlying data backend
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Data Modelling & PowerBI
• Familiarity with industry development standards like version control, testing, ci/cd, knowledge about DevOps best practices
• Understanding of data modelling schemes, and of the medallion architecture
• Experience in cloud computing, preferably Azure and Databricks
• Experience in Data Science or Data Analysis
