Senior Business Unit Manager, AWM based in Bangkok

Responsible for leading a team of sales representatives & Sales managers to achieve sales objectives for Thailand while operating within the policies / procedures and the assigned expense budget. Person will develop and manage business/sales plans that align with the company’s annual goals and objectives.

What will you be doing?

  • Work closely with the Country Director and marketing team to craft and implement business plan, product portfolio strategy.
  • The role holder is accountable for the achievement of the assigned sales objectives through the organizations and through the appointed distributors in Thailand.
  • Participation in the business/sales strategy for profitable sales growth and effective communication of the strategy to Sales staff and Distributor teams to ensure its implementation.
  • Setting sales targets for the business, territory, and sales individuals, drive key/core products to meet or exceed the sales growth objectives.
  • Analyze sales records and reports to determine country revenue and profitability.
  • Direct the sales team in reaching a sales targets, developing new business and maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Reporting on sales performance, business prospects, market trends, and competitor activity. Keeping abreast of competitors and what they are doing.
  • Lead and support the product portfolio with marketing teams.
  • Training, counselling, motivating and skill development of the team members.
  • Ensuring ethical promotion of products to medical practitioners and hospitals. Ensure that self and all team members align with ‘Code of Ethics’ as prescribed by the company from time to time.
  • Formulation of local promotional programs in consultation with (Head Office) HO Marketing.
  • Local pricing flexibility within norms.
  • Deciding on geographical & key account coverage, Standard Tour Planning, Customer data base for self and team members collaborate with all partners.

What will you need to be successful?

Success in the role will require a combination of technical knowledge, soft skills, and a deep understanding of both the business and service-providing sides of an organization. Successful candidates would need the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
  • 10-15 years relevant sales & management experience in Medical/ healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of sales success.
