Job Title:

Logistics Leader - IMEA

Summary:

Plan, Manage & monitor the company's overall Logistics operations / Warehouse operations efficiently by strictly adhering to the Statutory requirements under all regulatory department with the objective to meet the customers expectation in a timely, cost effective and efficient manner.

Responsibilities Include:

  • End to End monitoring of all aspect of Logistics operation.
  • Responsible for Safety, Quality, and compliance of Logistics Operation.
  • Accountable for Cost-To-Serve (CTS) for the logistics function.
  • Manage and co-work with compliance all aspect of Audit – Internal / external / government department audit.
  • Accountable to monitor the Service level agreement (SLA)with service partner / deliverables.
  • End to end monitoring of import shipments till customs clearance.
  • Hands-on experience for Letter of Credit transaction.
  • Responsible for all aspect of Renewal for logistics operation in a timely manner.
  • Managing the warehouses, Receipt, issue, & accounting of all transactions.
  • Managing outbound & distribution of Domestic and export shipments.
  • End to end managing of export shipments including pre and post shipment documents as documentary credit & customer requirements and Realization of all export incentives and refund on timely manner.
  • Meet all requirement under Central Excise/GST for receipt, issue, shipments, and claims, etc.,
  • Ensure all the billing plans are executed daily/weekly/ Monthly basis to ensure Organizations sales target are achieved and to improve Error Free Delivery metric, timely closure of all service & transaction related claims from customers.
  • Managing the service providers like 3rd Party Logistics, Domestic transporters, freight forwarders, CHA Agent etc.
  • Insures Safe Operations and Compliance with domestic & international Transportation regulations.
  • Define & drive projects for cost/service optimization (VCP) projects.
  • Responsible for Logistics Cost & yearly Budget.
  • Drive Sustainability project.
  • Drive Automation Project for Logistics function.
  • Leads regular operational meetings with key Logistics partners.
  • Effectively coach and give feedback to direct reports to help develop talents and support achieving their career aspiration.
  • Set and balance the goal across team to optimize performance against department goals and employee development.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years’ experience in the field of Logistics Operations
  • Strong Experience in EXIM process / compliance
  • Hand-on experience in handling government agencies like DGFT, Chamber of Commerce, Excise and GST department
  • Experience in Rules of Origin, FTP policy, HSN code, Embargo etc.,
  • Experience in WMS, TMS, etc.,
  • Experience in Team Handling.
